Who is 'WebManStan' and why should I let him work on my web project?

WebManStan is me, Stan Yordy.  I have been doing web development and design professionally since the start of the millennium and really loving it.  I am employed as a full-time Webmaster by a nonfiction childrens' book publishing company called Heinemann-Raintree.  Prior to that, I worked as a 'Technical Web Administrator' for another childrens' supplemental publishing company called Rigby Education (though the company has been merged with another and now called 'Harcourt Achieve').

I do ongoing side work for a personal training company called Body Evolution, an engineering firm called RPS Engineering, and an ornament reseller called Ornaments4Less, among others.  For a full list and examples of all of my web sites, see the Sample Sites section.

I do side work for extra cash when my schedule allows so that I can buy some 'toys' that I can't otherwise justify to my family.  I won't take on a web project unless I have the time to give it proper attention.  I don't do work because I 'need' the money, so my rates are fair and below market value.

Before I realized what I wanted to be when I grew up, I kicked around the business world rather aimlessly with my B.A. in English & French and a minor in Humanities from Ball State University.  So I'm a well-rounded geek!
